This is a full-time, renewable 1-year contract position.

Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

As a Sr. Digital Strategist, you will combine customer insights, global and local trends, and business needs to evolve our plans and shape the digital landscape, ways of working, and culture within and beyond our team. In this role, you will partner closely with our key stakeholder, the Brand team, to bring our masterbrand strategy, and key related experiences, to life across TELUS.com.

You will be a part of a new team, the Brand Experience Outcome team. The team’s mandate will be to provide a centralized resource to strategize, design, and build all digital properties that act as brand extensions. The team will provide a consistent content and design strategy in order to elevate the brand messaging throughout telus.com, ultimately raising brand perception and sentiment with our customers. The team will be expected to drive improved operational efficiencies while ensuring we are able to deliver cohesive brand messaging. We plan to accomplish this by managing and delivering all digital properties that act as brand extensions (ex: Community Investment, Future Friendly, About TELUS), iterate on existing sites, ensuring we leverage existing design and UX patterns, and making data-informed and user-informed decisions.

  • Shaping and influencing the overall digital strategy of our masterbrand story
  • Ensuring that our Customer Experience Vision is brought to life through a customer-first approach
  • Building strong partnerships with key strategic stakeholders, including project leads and vendors
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders within, and outside of TELUS to translate community efforts to human impact stories, identifying opportunities to weave these organically throughout the TELUS.com ecosystem
  • Ensuring all brand marketing initiatives are following a digital-first strategy by engaging and collaborating with the Brand team
  • Delivering campaign briefs that includes, campaign summary, key outcomes, and KPIs.
  • Advocating for content strategy and the role it plays in designing leading experiences
  • Working alongside our UX Lead and other team members to build a great product and deliver on seamless end to end experiences
  • Using data to help inform and identify opportunities with campaign’s content strategies & hierarchies, structure, and breadcrumb navigation approaches
  • Identifying and analyzing trends in design, technology and marketing that can be leveraged to support the strategic aims of brand marketing initiatives

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Experience in defining CX business strategy and a passion for using technology to drive business outcomes
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to communicate broad strategic initiatives to various internal audiences
  • Experience leading digital brand strategies for national consumer brands
  • Exceptional ability to simultaneously tackle multiple projects and challenges with enthusiasm
  • Experience navigating and partnering with a large and diverse stakeholder mix
  • Ability to develop and articulate succinct business rationale supporting recommendations
  • Well known for rolling your sleeves up and get things done, while driving sustainable positive impacts for our team, customers and the business

Great-to-haves

  • Experience in strategy or management consulting roles
  • Familiarity with communications or high tech industries
  • Understanding of digital landscape and customer trends
  • Bachelor of Commerce or Computer Science degree preferred
